degunk
A terminal dashboard that finds and safely reclaims disk space

The problem
Every developer has folders eating tens of gigabytes that no project has touched in months. The problem isn't finding them, it's knowing whether deleting them will cost you a reinstall. Most cleanup scripts just say rm -rf and hope.
What I built
degunk walks your filesystem, groups build artifacts by the project that owns them, and reads that project's git state before rendering anything. A row is only marked safe when the worktree is clean (or untracked) and a dependency lockfile exists, because those are the two conditions under which a rebuild is reproducible. Dirty worktrees, unpushed commits and missing lockfiles each get their own warning state instead of a generic yes or no.
What I’d tell past me
The safety verdicts are the product. Reclaiming disk space is a solved problem, telling someone it's safe is not.
