A fake typing session inside your editor, built from your own code
The problem
When an AI agent takes two minutes to think, spinning in your chair or checking your phone invites questions from whoever can see your screen. There was nothing to do with your hands in the meantime.
What I built
Pulls real source files out of the workspace, skips past the import blocks, and replays them as a Monkeytype-style typing drill. Matching characters lock in, the cursor advances, and Esc ends the session instantly and prints your WPM. Sessions run in temporary throwaway files, so nothing touches your actual project and nothing is left dirty.
What I’d tell past me
The constraint that made it safe (temp files only, never the real workspace) is the same constraint that made it funny. Doing it properly was the easy part.
